Vocal Recording
Whether you just want a one song recording for family and friends or to complete an album, The Voice Club is here to help bring out the best in you.
Anyone can record you. Heck, you can record yourself at home (and we always highly recommend it for the opportunity to critically hear yourself). But when you’re ready to get a solid recording that brings out what you’re really capable of, it’s time to go to someone who knows how to bring it out of you.
Kim Snyder, the Voice Club coach, is a network trained audio producer working in a state of the art Pro Tools environment She’s worked for over two decades as a session vocalist and professional vocal arranger working with every major genre of music.
What does that mean to you? It means you’ll get a professional quality recording with all the bells and whistles, not something that sounds like it was recorded in a basement. You’ll get one on one help from an experienced coach who can identify your vocal and styling strengths and help you capitalize on them, and you’ll walk away with a finished product that really shows off what you can do.
All you need is to decide if you want to record live or work on your project over the internet. Click the links and weigh the pro’s and con’s of each to decide what’s best for you.
So let’s talk cost.

So How’s It All Work?
1. Get Booked
Once you click one of these things and select the option you want, you’ll get an email confirming that you’re booked for what you wanted with all the details you need.
2. Show Up
If you’re coming into the studio, just bring your mp3 or CD track along with half of your project fee (also payable online any time before the session begins). We’ll warm up your voice and get you situated. We’ll record several lead vocals, backgrounds as indicated and wild tracks full of ad lib and stuff to play with during production. Then you leave and we get to work piecing it all together and polishing it up. You’ll receive the final mastered mp3 of your song(s) within two weeks. The remainder of your project fee is due at that time.
3. Or… don’t show up
If you’ve opted to have your project produced via the internet, we’ll still schedule a recording time to get your project started. That will be the date and time that all files need to be received by us. What files, you say? We’ll need your mp3 soundtrack and preferably several takes of your vocals. You can record a ‘clean vocal’ with any decent vocal mic in a quiet room and a good PC or Mac. A clean vocal means there is no added effects and no soundtrack in the background at all. If you’re not confident that you can record a clean vocal, it is highly recommended that you record at The Voice Club or another studio. Play around with some of the takes and add anything you want. Not all of it will make the final project but you might be surprised with what we do with some of it!
4. Show Off Your Stuff
Many of the artists we record come back again for their next project. Our goal is that you get the best possible product that highlights all you can do and if you ask the singers we’ve worked with they’ll tell you we like to have a lot of fun doing it. Once you get your finish project, get it out there! (CD duplication and graphic services are available upon request).
